Description
Tron 2. This movie was made for the masses. I do not like movies that are made for the masses.
Everything is clearly set out for the viewer. Complete with overused explanations and a antagonist who does everything by the book when it comes to bad guy movie stuff.
-No beginning scenes with the son
-No "growling" by the bad guys. Wtf?
-No jumping off the tower scene. No need to associate the action seeker generation with such flare, such over coolness, much overdone. Internet dog does not approve. .
-No more talking or less between Clue and his "helper". Makes for a more evil presence.
-Less "Wow" scenes while he is in the computer. Makes for a more compelling movie.
-Less typical crazy maniac actions by Clue. Makes for a more interesting enemy. One who is silent and direct.
-Less tug at the heart scenes during the speech by his dad (about the isos). Makes the flick more serious.
-Tightened up the dialog when Flynn meets Sam for the first time. We already know what's going down. We don't need it over explained.
-Cut some small scenes here and there. Subtle cuts. So the story stays on topic.
Now the movie is one big action/chase scene after another. With just enough information to keep the viewer going. Just like the first one. :)
