The Forest is a first-person open world-survival video game developed by Canadian company Endnight Games for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4. The game's pre-alpha version was released through Steam Early Access on May 30, 2014. The game takes place on a heavily forested island where the player character and a young child are the survivors of a plane crash.
Instalation:

2. Install the 'TheForest_Fix_Repair_Steam_V5' in the folder of the game.
Starting the game:
1. Start and minimize Steam
2. Start the game from the desktop or 'TheForest.exe' from the game folder.
Joining a game:
- Co-op - Type your nickname and press "Join game" - Type the IP address and port number of the server you want to enter.
- Connected - Play!
Creating a server:
- Co-op - Type in your nickname and press "Create game" - Give your friends your IP address, wait for them to join and play.
