Das T-Virus der Umbrella Corporation hat mittlerweile fast die gesamte
Menschheit dahingerafft, nur leider nicht ganz: Die Infizierten wandeln nämlich
als Untote herum und trachten den wenigen nicht infizierten nach dem Leben.
Alice (Milla Jovovich) macht sich zusammen mit einer Gruppe Überlebender auf den
Weg nach Arcadia. In diesem Refugium in Alaska soll ein Überleben noch möglich
sein.
Der Weg dorthin wird allerdings von Dr. Isaacs (Iain Glen) und der Umbrella
Corporation zusätzlich erschwert, denn mit Hilfe einer Klonarmee will Isaacs
endgültig die Kontrolle über die Infizierten und die Lebenden gewinnen. Als
einziger Ausweg verbleibt für Alice nur der Kampf und die engültige Vernichtung
der Umbrella Corp.
